Better Futures Multi-Academy Trust (BFMAT) is an exciting new development established by Coventry University Group as the Trust sponsors. We are looking for a CEO to lead the Trust and provide strategic vision and leadership to grow the Trust, promoting excellence in all areas of the work. The CEO will be key in shaping the strategic vision and values of the Trust. Initially in the Sixth Form College sector,genuine partnership work will enable the Trust to become a national leader in teaching and learning, demonstrated through learner engagement and indicators of educational success.

The post-holder will also lead the development and implementation of the Business Plan. Embedded within this will be an effective corporate environment that allows the Trust and its constituent academies to achieve excellence.

You will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of visionary curriculum leadership. You will be able to demonstrate significant experience of working in the 16-19 education sector at a senior level. As you would expect of this role,high-levels of communication, influencing and negotiating skills are essential.You should also be able to present complex strategic concepts effectively and have a high degree of staff and financial management experience.
