Position Description

The Department of Biostatistics at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health is seeking candidates with a PhD in Statistics/Biostatistics for a postdoctoral position. The position involves the development and implementation of methodology for the design and analysis of longitudinal and/or cluster-correlated continuous, categorical or survival outcomes. Specific methodologic challenges that are of interest include: methods for missing data, outcome-dependent sampling schemes and methods for challenges that arise in EHR-based settings. The primary motivating examples are in global health, specifically in resource-limited settings, and in health policy, specifically quality-of-end-of-life care.

However, it is anticipated that the methods should be applicable to a broad range of settings. The successful candidate will work with Dr. Sebastien Haneuse and his collaborators.

Basic Qualifications

Doctoral degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field; strong background/expertise in survival analysis; strong computing is desired, along with excellent communication and writing skills.
