ELECTION OF PRESIDENT

The Governing Body of Magdalen College, Oxford, is seeking to elect a new President with effect from 1 September 2020 to succeed Professor Sir David Clary FRS. The President of the College is responsible for leading an eminent academic community dedicated to the pursuit of learning and research and will serve as an ambassador for Magdalen within the University of Oxford and on the international stage.

Ideal candidates will be inspirational figures of professional distinction with the energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to engage in all aspects of College life. They will need to demonstrate the capacity for strategic vision combined with a collegial leadership style and be able to build consensus across the Fellowship and beyond.
