Marketing Events Co-ordinator
£19,250 per annum pro rata
25 hours each week
Permanent

Make the most of an exciting opportunity to join the events function of Hartpury’s award-winning marketing and communications team. You will work closely with our Marketing Events Officer, overseeing the logistical planning of our dynamic events calendar.

This is a fantastic time to join us, as we’re developing our campus and growing our education activities. Our events calendar – that includes open days, graduation ceremonies and our annual Summer Fair Extravaganza – is expanding, which is the reason we are recruiting for this exciting new role.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised and have a confident and customer-focused manner, with the ability to work with initiative in a fast-paced environment. You will be part of a creative, driven and supportive team – a positive problem-solver and proud to represent Hartpury to the highest standard. Reporting directly to our Marketing Events Officer, your responsibilities will include co-ordinating events - logistical planning, delivery and evaluation of events in line with business needs. You will also use Hartpury’s CRM system to send relevant customer communications, with the option to support events marketing activities including social media, if this is an area you would like to develop in.

You will be methodical in your approach and thrive on seeing things through from beginning to end. A qualification, interest in or prior experience within marketing, PR and/or events would be an advantage but is not essential. Experience of working with data and a good knowledge of Microsoft Office products is essential.

This part-time role can be fulfilled with hours to suit other commitments during weekdays. The ideal candidate will be able to work up to 15 Saturdays each year - in line with our events calendar and with our events team - at our open days, offer-holder days and summer fair.

We offer excellent benefits including TOTUM discounts, pension, 25 days annual leave entitlement plus bank holidays, onsite fitness facilities, free onsite parking and lots more inside the 360 hectares of Gloucestershire countryside at the Hartpury campus.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment.  All successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks along with other relevant employment checks.

Visit our website www.hartpury.ac.uk to see full details and to apply online or telephone (01452) 702135 to request documents by post.

The closing date for receipt of applications is Thursday 18th April 2019

Hartpury values a diverse workforce and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
