The Faculty is establishing a School of Nursing and Midwifery from its existing discipline groups and is seeking a Head of School to provide academic leadership and strategic management to maintain and enhance its teaching, research and external engagement activities.

The Head of School Nursing and Midwifery will lead the School and will serve as an executive, reporting directly to the Dean of the Faculty of Health.

The role requires excellent leadership and academic skills, outstanding interpersonal, communication and team-building skills and the capacity to operate as an effective and collaborative team member at School, Faculty and University levels in a highly competitive and changing environment.

Candidates must be eligible for registration as a health practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
