The CQUniversity Community Sports Centre is a fully-equipped fitness centre, featuring group fitness classes, a 25-metre heated swimming pool, an athletics oval, free tennis court hire and an indoor and outdoor gym. Our Sports Centre staff are dedicated to exceeding customer expectations and satisfaction.

You will bring to the position:

  • Experience operating autonomously in a sports or fitness facility and building strong network connections.
  • Effective leadership and management skills, including supervising and developing staff, monitoring workloads, delegating duties, managing performance and overall ensuring a successful and collaborative team.
  • A background in designing, implementing and marketing membership offers, targeted sales strategies and client growth campaigns.
  • Experience undertaking administrative, financial, record keeping and operational activities.

  • Certificate IV in Fitness or higher.
  • Demonstrated knowledge operating computers and support software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Current Senior First Aid certificate, CPR certificate and Blue Card.
  • Current Bronze Medallion (desirable).
