Faculty member in early childhood education specialist
The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites applications for a faculty member in the College of Education (CEDU). We are looking for candidates with a PhD in early childhood education who can teach on teacher training programmes, specialising in preparing student teachers to teach in early years education (K-2). Candidates are expected to have:
- A PhD in early years education;
- the ability to train student teachers to teach in early years settings;
- a strong commitment to teaching excellence and student supervision at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
- a demonstrable research capability in their field of expertise.
The application package should include (1) a cover letter, (2) a detailed resume, (3) names of two references with contact information, and (4) teaching statement that includes a list of courses taught.
UAEU is based in the city of Al Ain in the Abu Dhabi Emirate. This city is approximately 90 minutes drive from both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. UAEU is ranked 5th in the Arab World and 350th in the World according to QS rankings. English is the language of instruction and communication within UAEU.
