Dean of Students Life

The United Arab Emirates University is seeking to appoint an experienced and internationally recognized academic leader as Dean of Students Life. The appointee should assume leadership and administrative direction for Student Life services and programs that complement and enhance the mission of the UAE University and the Division of Student Affairs.

The Dean of Student Life serves as a leader in collaborative efforts with other areas of the University. He or she contributes significantly to strategic planning, facility and budget management, staff supervision, and the development of a safe, healthy, inclusive learning environment for the UAE University community.

The Dean of Student Life is responsible for fostering and implementing of the campus life vision which focuses on students' activities, residential life services, food services, and students' leadership. He or she is a member of the Associate Provost for Student Affairs and enrollment's executive team and as such assists in the management and promotion of the University's mission and vision.

The successful candidates must show evidence of excellent communication and interpersonal skills in the English language, and the Arabic language is preferred, proven record of accomplishment in a leadership role at a reputable research university. The candidate must have a Ph.D. from an accredited institution in related fields.
