The Unified Comms team is seeking a good communicator with strong customer service skills to join our busy team. You will be the first point of contact for all enquiries from staff, students, suppliers and member of the public. You will work as part of our Service Delivery team providing support to the wider University which will include some time spent on the University switchboard.
The role holder will be confident on the phone, with a clear and concise telephone manner, able to work with a wide range of people in a large variety of settings. You will provide an approachable and professional service at all times. Your role will be to service requests via telephone enquiries, service desk tickets, email and as well as providing administrative support to the team for orders and logging financial transactions.
Experience of working in a telephony setting is desirable but training is provided in the use of the various technologies employed by the University of Bristol but it is expected that you are competent with web browsers, spreadsheets and word documents.
There are two positions available:
Position 1 - full time, open-ended
Position 2 - part time, fixed term until 30/04/2021
