The School of Humanities is seeking to recruit a part-time Student Administrator to join the team on a fixed-term contract maternity cover basis. The role will be available at 0.7 FTE (24.5 hours per week) until 27th March 2020, or the earlier return of the postholder.
In this role you will be the first point of contact for all student and academic queries into the Student Support Office so a strong customer care orientation and commitment to service quality are required. This is an excellent opportunity to become involved in academic administration within an exciting and developing School.
To be successful in this role you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, a good level of numeracy, and the ability to work under pressure to important deadlines in a very busy office. The ability to manage your own workload is essential. A strong customer care orientation and commitment to service quality is also needed as is a friendly, patient and positive attitude.
