The University of Houston College of Pharmacy invites qualified applicants to apply for a full-time, clinical-track faculty position at the rank of clinical assistant or clinical associate professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Translational Research. We are seeking outstanding individuals with a solid track record of scholarship and expertise in the field of translational and clinical research. The successful candidate will be involved in increasing scholarship productivity within the Department, increasing the national recognition of the College, and mentoring junior faculty involvement in research. 

The Department of Pharmacy Practice and Translational Research is made up of 31 full-time faculty members. The vision of the Department is to be a leader in pharmacy and postgraduate education through excellence in translational, clinical and outcomes research. The Department has a strong group of faculty that conduct high-level translational and clinical research. This will be a key position to expand our research infrastructure and increase our research visibility around the nation.

The position is fully funded by the University of Houston College of Pharmacy. Applicant screening will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.

We are looking for talented personnel who will strengthen and provide synergy with our current areas of expertise that include infectious diseases, oncology, ambulatory care, and cardiology/critical care. Applicants will be expected to develop a nationally recognized reputation in their chosen area of expertise through teaching, service, and scholarship.

Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
