Applications are invited for the post of Ad Astra Fellow in Veterinary Medicine, UCD College of Health and Agricultural Sciences (post reference 011320).

The UCD College of Health and Agricultural Sciences was established in 2015 and brings all of UCD’s health professionals under one banner providing an exciting opportunity to exploit synergies which exist across the One Health spectrum. The College comprises five schools, the School of Agriculture and Food Science, the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems, the School of Medicine, the School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sport Science and the School of Veterinary Medicine.  Our vision is “To lead the advancement of human, animal and environmental wellbeing for the benefit of society.” Our mission is “To foster the integration and delivery of impactful education, research and services in health, wellbeing and agriculture with excellent people and facilities.”  The five Schools in the College of Health and Agricultural Sciences pride themselves on their international profile. The release of the QS World University Subject Rankings in February highlighted three of our Schools. Nursing at UCD was ranked 44th in the world subject rankings, UCD Veterinary Science is now ranked 26th in the world and Sports related subjects at 50th in the world.
