The Professional Services Group supports the College, Schools and Institutes in the successful delivery of their objectives. The Professional Services Group achieves excellence in services by partnering and collaborating with academic staff, students and external partners, through embracing diversity of ideas to coming up with innovative solutions.

The College Research and Innovation Office provide services for the administration and promotion of research with a particular focus on strategic planning of research funding and development programs, high quality grant applications and post-award processes, effective data management and reporting, and the provision of policies, procedures and guidelines.

Position Overview

The Deputy Manager, Research and Innovation Office provides high level support to the Manager, Research and Innovation Office to ensure effective and efficient implementation of strategic and operational plans, and oversees the day to day operations of a busy Research  and Innovation Office team,  including pre and post -award activities, research governance, and academic development.

To ensure your success in the position, you must have excellent supervision and mentoring skills, be willing to learn in a fast paced environment, be an excellent communicator with a strong customer service focus, have excellent administration and organisational skills as well as possess demonstrated ability to provide strategic advice to support senior management decisions.
