Job description

Role Summary:

To provide English language and study skills teaching to international students, preparing them for progression in Cardiff Metropolitan University and other UK HEIs.

To keep full and accurate records relating to the students' engagement and progress and signposting to other resources and sources of support as required.

To engage in Continual Professional development to ensure that specialist knowledge is up to date and informed by sector developments.

The English Language Tutor is responsible for delivering high quality ELTC programmes in line with ELTC processes and procedures. This involves teaching students undertaking the International Foundation Course, Pre-Sessional Course and other courses housed in the ELTC.

As well as developing and delivering lessons, the role includes assessing students on these accredited and non-accredited courses.
