Position Summary

The Department of Occupational Therapy in the School of Health & Human Sciences at IUPUI invites applications for a 10-month tenure-track faculty position beginning August 1, 2019. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and level of experience. Primary responsibilities include teaching in the occupational therapy doctoral program, engaging in an active program of independent research and providing school and university service. 

Applicants must have completed a research doctoral degree, show evidence of productive scholarship through publication and grant funding, and be committed to excellence in graduate teaching and student mentorship. Completion of a post-doctoral fellowship or similar experience is highly desirable.

IUPUI is Indiana’s premier urban public research university, home to more than 30,000 students within 19 schools and colleges including the IU Medical School. IUPUI’s innovative practices with respect to health and rehabilitation science have earned national recognition and offer numerous opportunities for collaborative, interdisciplinary research efforts. Notably, the Indiana Center for Musculoskeletal Health, the Center for Translating Research into Practice, and the Diabetes Translational Research Center are all housed on the IUPUI Campus.
