Position Overview

A unique and exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and highly motivated professional to lead the operations of one of Australia's most prestigious undergraduate scholarships, the Tuckwell Scholarship Program.

We are looking for an all-rounder: Someone with highly developed administrative, IT and project management expertise, coupled with a high level of emotional intelligence, and outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills.

Working collaboratively with external stakeholders and colleagues from a range of areas within the ANU, including Student Recruitment, Marketing, Admissions, Advancement and the Office of the Vice Chancellor, you will manage the selection process and on-boarding of new Scholars; whilst providing support to the Head of Scholars house and team of Tuckwell Fellows in the facilitation of enrichment, mentoring and pastoral care support activities that underpin the Program for existing Scholars

This role would suit someone who enjoys and has had extensive experience of working effectively with young people, whilst possessing the maturity and interpersonal skills required to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders external to the University; including the Scholarship's founders, members of the Tuckwell Board of Trustees and members of the Scholarship Selection Panel.
