The Department of Accounting, Finance and Economics at Coventry University London offers a number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Accounting, Finance and. We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in accounting to support the delivery of current modules and the development of new, cutting-edge additions to the portfolio in Accounting and Finance. The post holder will contribute to delivering the institution's mission which is to prepare career-ready, global and enterprising graduates by providing a real business and professional experience that is tailored to individual talents and future career ambitions.

You will have demonstrable experience of curricula design and facilitation of student learning with state-of-the-art learning methods,research informed teaching, quality resource material and networking with employers and professional bodies such as ACCA, CIMA and CISI. You will be expected to have teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and be qualified, or be close to completion, to a Doctoral level OR hold Master's degree supported by significant relevant industry experience and professional network.

As well as having excellent academic qualifications and research experience (or demonstrable potential), you will be able to demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm to a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement. A desire to contribute positively to the reputation and teaching of Coventry University London and the futures of our students by preparing them for successful careers in Accounting, Finance and Economics and related areas are essential.

You will be expected to contribute to the design, teaching and administration of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level in the subject areas such as:

  • Auditing
  • Taxation and Financial Reporting
  • Finance related subjects
