Not If, When - The Campaign to Create Change

This is a time of transformational change at The University of Queensland, following the recent launch of the first comprehensive philanthropic campaign in its history. The campaign aims to raise $500 million by the end of 2020 – towards empowering student success, transforming teaching and learning, and driving discovery and impact.

The University of Queensland is one of Australia’s leading research universities, ranked in the top 50 Universities globally.

The Faculty of Business, Economics and Law is one of the largest of the University’s faculties, incorporating the UQ Business School, the School of Economics and the T.C. Beirne School of Law. The Faculty offers a vast suite of programs for its undergraduate and postgraduate students both on campus and off shore, including a range of quality executive education and professional development programs.

Philanthropic support of the Faculty helps it to achieve its mission of creating positive change. Whether giving a financial gift, scholarship, time or expertise - investment from the community is vital. The Faculty now seeks a motivated fundraising professional with extensive experience in securing significant philanthropic gifts to help achieve the Faculty’s philanthropic and engagement goals.

Providing leadership in the areas of philanthropy, fundraising strategy, constituent relations, and donor stewardship, you will lead a team to successfully identify, cultivate and solicit major gift prospects across the Faculty. Your proven ability to close major gifts will be matched by extensive senior management and leadership experience and a flexible, holistic and collaborative approach.
