£35,210 - £42,036 pa (pro rata for part-time)

The School of Performing Arts at the University of Wolverhampton is seeking to make a number of key appointments to support and enhance its core provision. Housed in the state-of-the-art Performance Hub on our Walsall campus, the School offers a wide portfolio of courses and has strong links with industry. We are committed to providing an excellent student experience and you will be expected to demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for teaching, with the desire to support students to fulfil their potential and realise their career ambitions.  

The School of Performing Arts is seeking to recruit a 0.5 member of staff to work within the drama team. 

You will be an excellent lecturer with proven experience of higher education teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate degree levels in a range of areas in Drama. You will possess a PhD (or near completion) or have significant evidence of professional practice in the field. 

The ability to deliver specialist modules in one or more of the following is desirable: applied drama, devising and experience in coordinating independent student projects. You will also be able to contribute to Academic Skills and Research Methods modules. 

You will have a passion for the subject and possess an enthusiasm that inspires confidence from students and builds rapport with University colleagues and external clients.
