Chair Professor / Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor / Research Assistant Professor (Entrepreneurship) (PR0289/18-19)

The Department invites applications for the above positions. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Innovation and Creativity, Business Idea Generation, Startups and New Ventures, Global Entrepreneurship, Business Plan Development, Corporate Entrepreneurship, Startup Culture and Organization or other areas related to entrepreneurship

Applicants must hold, or expect to hold, a PhD degree. Applicants for Research Assistant Professorship should have good potential in research and teaching. Applicants for Chair Professorship / Professorship / Associate Professorship / Assistant Professorship should be able to demonstrate commitment to excellence in research and teaching and be willing to work collaboratively with colleagues. Evidence of ability to publish in top-tier journals is required.  Interviews may be arranged in the coming Academy of Management Annual Meeting in Boston, USA (9-13 August 2019) and/or in the HKBU campus in Hong Kong at a later stage.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of three years commencing September 2020 or the earliest available date. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding. Appointment of Assistant Professor or above will be made on a tenure-track basis. Outstanding candidates at Associate Professor or above rank may be considered for tenure on appointment.

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
