Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Testing Gravity using the Clustering of Neutral Hydrogen. This is a full time Research Associate position to work for 6 months on a project related to cosmological tests of gravity.

The post holder will work with Dr. Baojiu Li, as well as other members of the ICC, and will be expected to display the initiative and creativity, together with the appropriate skills and knowledge, required to lead the research using cosmological hydro-dynamical simulations of galaxy formation to further our understanding of the effects modified gravity has on neutral hydrogen distribution and how this can be used to constrain gravity models.

The successful applicant will be expected to have a broad range of knowledge and skills appropriate to the project goals, specifically developing analyses and tools to quantify clustering statistics of neutral hydrogen from hydrodynamical simulations, with the aim of providing new tests of the standard LCDM paradigm and constraints on alternative models of gravity.

The successful applicant will be expected to work effectively both independently and as part of a research team. It is expected that the successful applicant will enhance the international contacts of the group through the presentation of work at international conferences and will aid in the supervision of graduate students within the group.
