Full Time, Fixed Term Position

Applications are invited for the post of REF Project Support Officer based in the Department of Research & Enterprise. This new post will play a key role in supporting the REF 2021 Project Team to deliver the University’s submission. The post holder will undertake varied support activities; mainly concentrated on REF data capture and analysis.

Applicants should have a first degree or equivalent work experience, knowledge and understanding of the higher education sector and the Research Excellence Framework. Applicants should also have direct experience working in an administrative capacity including spreadsheets and databases, project management or working on projects, research including data analysis and document preparation, as well as excellent interpersonal, planning, organisation and time management skills.Experience of supporting the previous REF cycle would be a distinct advantage.
