Research Strategy and Performance Officer

Department : 
   Research Strategy & Development

The post-holder will provide professional services support for aspects of the development and delivery of King's research strategy, including supporting internal funding and training schemes.

The post-holder will contribute to the analysis and reporting of King's research performance and strategy implementation and keep up-to-date on strategy and policy developments relating to research within the HE sector, including trends in the research funding landscape.

They will also provide advice and guidance to a wide range of stakeholders within the College on matters relating to research policy and strategy. They will carry out the duties above while reporting to the Director of Research Strategy Delivery, supporting their work and that of the Director of Research Strategy and Development. 

The post-holder will need strong time-management, an ability to prioritise and work under pressure, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. They will have experience of the HE sector, in particular its research and policy landscape, and will be comfortable working within a team.

This post will be offered on an indefinite contract

The selection process will include a panel interview, an assessment, and a presentation.
