Currently two opportunities exist to join the Flinders University Research Development and Support (RDS) team, which provides proactive and innovative research support and services to the Flinders research community.
The position of Research Grants Officer (Industry, Government, Internal and International) will provide high level research administrative and grant support to our researchers. Key to being successful in this role will be your previous experience and skills in identifying diverse research grant funding and tender opportunities and providing critical support in the development, drafting and submission of high quality and targeted research proposals and tender applications.
The position of Research Grants Officer (NHMRC and Health) will provide high level research administrative and grant support to our researchers, and will have a particular focus on health and medical research. Key to being successful in this role will be your previous experience and skills in supporting health-related researchers to identify suitable grant funding opportunities, providing critical support in the development, drafting and submission of high quality and targeted research proposals and a solid working knowledge of NHMRC and MRFF rules and submission processes.
Both roles, will report directly to the Manager, Research Grants and Tenders and work under broad direction of the Senior Research Grants Officer in the specific areas of either NHMRC/Health or Industry, Government, Internal and International. As members of RDS, the Research Grants Officers work closely with RDS research support staff embedded within Colleges and University Centres/Institutes and research contract administration team in providing assistance with both pre-award and post-award to our researchers and other stakeholders.
