The Research Ethics & Integrity Unit is located within the Research Services Office, which forms part of the Research & Innovation Division. The Unit works to support a high standard of research integrity at UOW through training, policy development and supporting research ethics and integrity committees.

The role of Research Integrity Officer has a broad range of responsibilities calling for excellent communication and administrative skills and an understanding of research and training in a university environment. A significant part of the job involves developing and providing training, co-ordinating outreach activities, and providing advice on research integrity issues to senior staff, researchers and students. The position also involves interpretation of regulatory guidelines and legislation, development and implementation of related policy and processes, and committee support.
