The Estates and Campus Services team look after all property issues within the University which includes the management of space and Timetabling. We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our timetabling team. Under the leadership of the Timetabling Manager you will be responsible for working closely with academic, professional services teams on timetabling matters in order to produce well designed timetables which deliver an excellent student experience and optimise the use of available teaching space.
You will be an experienced timetabler who is logical and organised with good understanding of timetabling principles and processes ideally using Celcat as your primary timetabling tool.
This is a new team where you will have the opportunity to undertake training and development in the more complex aspects of timetabling and effective use of Celcat in a supportive environment while making a real difference to our student experience.
Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate numerical and analytical skills and attention to detail in their application and ideally have some experience in working within education in a timetabling related role. It is also essential to be comfortable working with systems and software used in timetabling. The role requires the ability to liaise across a variety of departments both academic and professional.
