Applications are invited for the post of StoryFutures / Academy Social Media & Event Co-Ordinator in the Department of Media Arts / Centre for Digital Creativity

Then this role may be for you. It is a brilliant, one-of-a-kind opportunity to be part of the team working across StoryFutures and StoryFutures Academy: The National Centre for Immersive Storytelling based at Royal Holloway and the National Film & Television School. Both projects are part of the AHRC’s £80m Creative Industries Clusters Programme created by the government’s Industrial Strategy Fund.

StoryFutures is a new R&D base for screen industries to meet the challenge of next-generation storytelling, producing compelling content for emerging creative technologies. The linked StoryFutures Academy will draw on this R&D to develop cutting-edge creative training and research programmes in immersive storytelling to ensure the UK creative workforce is the most skilled in the world in the use of virtual, augmented and mixed reality technologies.

Working across sites at Royal Holloway and the NFTS, you will be responsible for the operational logistics of events and their social media coverage for both projects.

You will have a high level of organisational responsibility, with a key role in facilitating the smooth and efficient running of a series of events, the social media coverage of such events and for updating social media channels and web platforms. Ideally you will have:
