We are looking for an outstanding individual who will be responsible for the scientific development and coordination of AIMS-2-TRIALS. This is a unique opportunity to help lead the world-wide largest grant in neurodevelopment.
The main focus of the project is the identification and validation of biomarkers for Autism Spectrum Disorder and the testing of new treatments. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director (Prof Murphy) and Deputy Director (Dr Loth) to ensure scientific coherence and progress between the different workpackages and linked clinical studies, develop mechanisms for sustainability and consolidate the final project outputs. In addition, this role will be the main contact to the EC and 75+ European/ International partners.
The post holder will have a PhD on autism or related area, have advanced knowledge of clinical characterisation, cognition, and/ or brain imaging, and ideally experience coordinating highly complex research projects.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract until 31 May 2023.
This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent.
The selection process will include a panel interview.
Grade and Salary : £37,412 - £45,259 per annum inclusive of London Allowance
