Located within the University’s Secretariat team, the Governance Officer is responsible for providing the highest standard of committee servicing to senior University committees and working groups and case-managing student contention cases in line with the University’s regulations and in accordance with best practice. The Governance Officer also contributes to the development, implementation and promotion of University regulations, policies and procedures and provides authoritative guidance and appropriate training in their application to staff at all levels.
This position does not fulfil the UK Visas & Immigration sponsorship criteria for Tier 2.
