Epidemiology and Nutrition
Position Description
The Departments of Epidemiology and Nutrition at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (HSPH) invites application from candidates for a postdoctoral fellowship in Epidemiology.
The successful candidate(s) will contribute to epidemiologic research and training as part of the Harvard-Oxford Program in Epidemiology. Areas of interest include cancer, cardiovascular, genetic and nutritional epidemiology. The successful candidate will facilitate collaborative research between cohort studies at Harvard and studies based in the Nuffield Department of Population Health in Oxford. He or she will be expected to conduct empirical research in clinical epidemiology and to participate actively in teaching and in the direction of training programs in this area.
Basic Qualifications
Candidates should have graduate-level training in epidemiology and experience with the analysis of cohort studies. The ideal candidate(s) will have demonstrated excellence in research and teaching in the field of epidemiology.
Additional Qualifications
Ability to travel to Oxford to participate in analyses necessary. A part-time appointment for fellows already employed at Harvard will be considered.
