Job description

The Faculty of Clinical and Biomedical Sciences and School of Medicine is developing a theme of Medical Education research and teaching, and an expansion of the capacity is necessary. As the Post Graduate Programme expands and develops, there is a need for staff to assist in the delivery of the programme, particularly as it moves out to a global community.

The school therefore wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Medical Education to support the development of the post graduate educational provision in medical education and achieve the academic goals of the School through teaching, course co-ordination and assessment of credit bearing courses in this area.

You will hold a good honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject or a PhD or higher degree. Familiarity with education pedagogy is essential for this post.

Experience of working within a postgraduate program in medical education is essential as is experience of developing or delivering a Medical Education Training Program.

You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently as an individual and as a member of a team.
