This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced purchasing administrator to join the Purchasing Team based within Financial Operations. The post is an important role within the team and involves the day to day management of primarily supplier related matters.
This post is one of two that assists the Accounts Payable & Purchasing Manager with pro-actively managing all supplier maintenance activities for the CU Group.
The post holder will be responsible for maintaining supplier records which includes new supplier requests and supplier amendments in line with the pre-defined controls and policies.
The post holder will contribute to the efficient and effective administration of a busy Purchasing Team within the University's Finance Department. You will provide excellent customer care to suppliers, staff and students, resolving queries in a helpful and efficient manner.
As a team member you will be expected to work with minimal supervision, use your initiative to resolve and respond to queries and prioritise your work to meet team, month end and year end deadlines.
The post holder will report directly to the Accounts Payable & Purchasing Manager.
