Faculty of Education Health and Wellbeing

Lecturer in Education Studies

£35,210 - £42,036 pa

The University of Wolverhampton is a leading modern university with a tradition of providing opportunity and academic excellence dating back 150 years. The University serves a student body drawn predominantly from the West Midlands, with a significant UK wide population and a vibrant international community.

The Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing is seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in the Education Studies subject area. The team is highly motivated and has developed an excellent reputation and has achieved 100% NSS student satisfaction in some areas.

You will be expected to make significant contribution to the provision of high quality teaching, research and income generation. You will have an excellent track record of teaching education studies related subjects and experience of practice in this area and be committed to enhancing the student experience and contributing to the performance and development of the wider faculty. Ideally you will have a record of research and/or publication (or the capacity to achieve this) and hold a Masters level qualification and possess or be working towards/willing to undertake a higher degree qualification at some point.

Applications are invited for this demanding role which provides scope for personal initiative and an exciting challenge for a creative and energetic individual with a wide knowledge of the dynamic and rapidly developing field of education studies and related areas.
