The Cancer ImmunoTherapy Imaging “CITI” programme in Duke-NUS Medical School is a multi-institutional collaboration led by the Laboratory for Translational and Molecular Imaging (LTMI; PI: Ann-Marie Chacko, PhD). The CITI programme aims to develop local infrastructure and deep capabilities in the development of molecular imaging technologies for guiding the advancement and translation of cancer immunotherapies and companion diagnostics.

The “CITI” programme is recruiting 3 Research Fellow / Senior Research Fellow specialising in Molecular Imaging or Radiochemistry within the Immuno-Oncology domain. The successful candidate shall provide expertise in leading research activities, including but not limited to planning, organising, and executing research studies in the synthesis and pre-clinical characterisation/validation of novel imaging probes that target immuno-oncology candidate biomarkers.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Contribute to effective organisation/project management and provide guidance to junior researchers, graduate students and undergraduates.
  • Ensure timely reporting and presentation of study results and making appropriate decisions on data obtained from imaging studies.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance of research, including legal and ethical requirements.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Radiochemistry-related responsibility

  • Synthesis of novel probes (peptides, proteins and cell-based) as part of innovative research projects, including developing radiolabeling strategies across wide range of isotopes such as F-18, Ga-68, Zr-89, I-125 and Lu-177

Immuno-oncology/Molecular Imaging Responsibility

  • Develop syngeneic and humanised mouse tumour models to monitor immune response to immunotherapies with imaging, supported with IHC, FACS.
  • In vitro/in vivo characterisation of targeting probe specificity and sensitivity for PET/CT, SPECT/CT and/or optical imaging applications.

Job Requirements

  • PhD in Radiochemistry/Chemistry, Radiology, Radiopharmaceutical Sciences, Immunology, or related disciplines. Background in molecular biology, cell biology and oncology is desirable.
  • Candidates with strong records of scientific accomplishment in radiopharmaceutical sciences, immunology or related disciplines are encouraged to apply.
  • Prior experience in mouse studies (injection, anatomy, necropsy, pathology) would be advantageous.
  • Possess track record of academic publications, including writing/drafting first author papers.

For full consideration, interested candidates should submit a cover letter and curriculum vitae to hr@duke-nus.edu.sg. We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
