Salary package: $78,956 - $91,157 per annum plus 17% superannuation

Position Overview
The ANU College of Health and Medicine comprises the Research School of Psychology, the ANU Medical School, the John Curtin School of Medical Research and the Research School of Population Health. These schools work together to deliver world-class research and education across the spectrum of medicine and health-related fields, working in partnership with the health sector at local, national and international levels.
The John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR) is a multi-disciplinary institute with strong research activity and a distinguished history in Cancer Research, Immunology, Genomics and Neuroscience.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to play a key role in serving as the primary outreach liaison, to facilitate the communications and public affairs of the school. Working closely with our academic and professional staff, and students, the Senior Outreach and Communications Officer will engage with them to promote the many successes of the school. In addition, you will be responsible for the planning, coordinating and executing of School-based public events, developing and maintaining the School’s web content, as well as managing social media for the school.
The successful applicant will possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, have extensive experience in the planning and management of events, web design skills, as well as the ability to quickly build stakeholder relationships.
