Working hours Monday – Thursday 9am to 12:30pm and Friday 10:30am to 4:30 pm. There is the possibility that the successful candidate would need to be flexible with these hours during University vacation periods.

Reporting to the Student Advice & Information Manager, Student Advisers work as part of the Student Advice Team providing information, advice and guidance to students, staff and visitors. This is done via a range of approaches including face-to-face, telephone, e-mail, and through the new enquiry management system. The successful applicants will contribute to the delivery of a high quality, student-centred, advice and information service. This includes the delivery of first level guidance, a triage service and the efficient organisation of appointments and information systems.
We are seeking highly motivated applicants with experience of delivering a high level of good customer service, often around sensitive issues, and who are good communicators across all forms of media. Applicants must be able to understand the needs of a diverse range of students and have a commitment to the continuous improvement of the student experience.
