We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced policy officer to support the Vice-Chancellor and contribute to the activities of his office. This is a vital and high profile position at the centre of university strategic activity. Working closely with the Vice-Chancellor and other SMT members you will scan the horizon, analyse and develop policies, author key documents and speeches, and manage office resources. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a university that is rapidly improving.

You will have a good understanding of the current HE policy environment and be an experienced researcher and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be part of various close-knit teams where you will need to be well organised and an effective coordinator. The role is varied and fast-paced and you should be willing to be flexible and adaptable.

The Vice-Chancellor’s Office is based at the iconic Greenwich Maritime campus housed in the Old Royal Naval College between the River Thames and Greenwich Park.
