Professor of Finance & Technology (FinTech) in the Faculty of Humanities (FHUMS)

At the University of Manchester we are driving digital innovation and transformation to address some of the major challenges facing our society. 

The University is now inviting applications from outstanding candidates for appointment to the new position of Professor of Finance & Technology (FinTech) in the Faculty of Humanities (FHUMS).

This appointment is being made in support of Digital Futures, the University’s strategic response to the challenges and opportunities presented by the digital revolution. The Digital Futures programme brings together a multidisciplinary community of over 850 researchers from across the University’s three faculties.

The successful candidate will assume a leadership role in finance & technology within the faculty. They will have significant opportunities for intellectual interaction and collaboration with other leading researchers including through the University’s partnership with the Alan Turing Institute.

Candidates will bring a distinguished track record of research within a relevant field of finance & technology, along with proven research leadership experience and the ability to generate and lead interdisciplinary collaborations and to apply their expertise to challenges in FinTech.
