Responsibilities*

Initiate and performs all basic respiratory care techniques including, but not limited to blood gas analysis, equipment rounds, compressed gas therapy,, basic ventilator parameters. Trained in Cardio-Pulmonary Association standards, administers medication including: antibiotic bronchodilators. Stock designated areas with respiratory care equipment.

Required Qualifications*

High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary. Some laboratory experience or patient care experience.

Desired Qualifications*

Acceptance in a Respiratory Therapy Program or previous respiratory therapy experience is necessary.
