Job Summary

This position will be responsible for designing and constructing fluorescent microscopes.

Job Duties

• Design and construct robust single molecule capable microscopes
• Construct machine parts
• Assemble the instrument
• Repair as necessary
• Train others to use microscope as requested
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
• Minimum of three year experience in engineering or microscopy fields
• Excellent attention to details and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with fluorescence microscopy
