The role of the Project Officer for the Erasmus Work and Global Careers seeks to support the ambitious scaling up of the work and volunteering placement opportunities worldwide for CU students. The Centre for Global Engagement [CGE] has successfully developed opportunities for students to study and/or work in Europe (e.g. Erasmus programme) for which it has secured EU funding. Whilst enlarging the catalogue of Erasmus work opportunities, it is now also developing new opportunities for work and/or volunteering experiences worldwide.
The role requires someone imaginative and dynamic with an ambition to excel. Good oral and written communication skills, attention to details and robust project management skills will be essential.
The candidate must possess a good understanding of career development and employability issues and be sensitive to employer account management requirements in different countries, and differentiated placement dynamics across cultures.
