£29,514 to £35,210 per annum pro rata (plus London weighting allowance)

Part Time, 21 hours per week

The University of the West of Scotland, London Campus is a vibrant new campus offering a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses for home and international students.

Reporting to the International Student Support Team Leader within Student Services, you will provide specialist advice and guidance to students on a range of services including UK immigration regulations, work rights and general welfare.  You will act as first point of contact for student funding and disability support and liaise closely with University schools and Professional Departments.

Educated to degree level, you will have post degree experience of working in an advisory or related role within Higher Education or Further Education.  You will be well informed of international student needs, experience in handling student visas and complex case work, competent at delivering presentations and workshops, culturally aware and able to work within a team as well as on your own initiative.

Self-motivated, you will have high level planning skills to organise and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines.
