The Research Specialist A position will involve tracking the genomic integration sites of viral vectors in various projects. The position entails DNA purification, amplification, manipulation, and DNA library preparation and sequencing. Some programming and statistical methods would be desirable to analyze sequencing
Research Specialist B: In addition to the above, perform advanced DNA manipulation and quantification, design experiments and analyze results independently.

Research Specialist A:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. The candidate should be familiar with DNA purification, amplification, cloning, and sequencing as well as online tools for DNA sequence manipulation and analysis. Expertise with programming and statistical analysis are also desirable.
Research Specialist B:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and 1 to 3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable and have work history in DNA manipulation and bioinformatic analysis.
