We are currently recruiting for a Lecturer in Korean and Linguistics, based within the School of Languages and Linguistics.
The successful candidate will be able to contribute to our undergraduate programmes in Korean language and in English language and/or Linguistics, and have experience of teaching Korean as a foreign language. They will have a doctorate in a relevant area and be actively engaged in research. Areas of research expertise must include one or more of the following: critical discourse analysis; sociolinguistics; semantics; pragmatics; syntax; phonetics; queer and feminist linguistic theory; digital communication.
