The ILO aims to provide students within the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science opportunities to engage with industry throughout their academic careers. The ILO currently delivers an industrial mentoring scheme to all first-year students, an internship scheme open to all students, a series of industry insight talks.

The Industrial Liaison Office (ILO) is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative and highly motivated ILO Coordinator (Projects). This is an exciting role within the Industrial Liaison Office, tasked with delivering the Faculty’s First Year Mentoring Scheme and Internship scheme. The role is an important and varied role that will involve working with students, employers, academic and professional services staff to deliver and monitor the provision of industrial mentors and summer internship opportunities.

The post holder will provide professional, efficient administrative services as well as creative solutions to promoting employability opportunities. They will work independently, taking day to day decisions and using his/her experience and initiative to decide on appropriate courses of action and resolve problems.

This is a full time role offered on a fixed-term contract basis for up to 12 months (secondments welcome), the post will have a 3rd June or later start date.
