Research Associate - Department of Inflammation Biology
Department : Department of Inflammation Biology
This position is for a Post-doctoral Research Associate to join the Inflammation Biology Group at the Centre for Inflammation Biology and Cancer Immunology (CIBCI). The project aims to dissect the signalling pathways that regulate the functions of tissue-resident mononuclear phagocytes, including macrophages and dendritic cells (Baratin et al. Immunity 2015 42(4):627-39; Dalod et al. EMBO J 2014 33(10):1104-16).
The project will employ lineage-specific gene targeting in mice combined with emerging technologies such as single-cell genomics and mass cytometry. In depth knowledge of immunology and experience with multi-colour flow cytometry analysis of mouse tissues are essential. Background knowledge of mononuclear phagocyte biology and signalling pathways would be an advantage. Working knowledge of systems biology approaches, genomics and mass cytometry would also be an advantage but is not essential.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 24 months.
This is a full-time post.
The selection process will include a panel interview and a presentation.
