Job Purpose

The role holder will support the Business by efficiently and effectively delivering Reward & Systems support.  This role is part of an established and busy HR Team. You should be looking for an environment where you can make a real difference and contribute to a rapidly developing function by providing excellent support to the Compensation & Benefits Manager, wider HR team and the business. Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the role (although not exhaustive) are as follows:

Reward

  • Monthly benefits administration and managing the day to day relationship with our providers
  • Manage the administration of our new flexible benefits platform
  • Manage the administration of our Employee discounts and instant awards platform
  • Monthly auto-enrolment pension assessments and payments
  • The opportunity to own our My Wellbeing initiative and run annual events such as our Walking Challenge
  • Create and maintain the database for the annual salary review which will require interaction with BPP senior managers
  • Give clear, concise and timely advice in response to day-to-day reward queries and act as first point of contact with line managers, the HR team and employees
  • Manage the Benefits mailbox, working closely with the HR Admin team to co-ordinate responses

Systems

  • Maintain and manage system administration within ResourceLink
  • User administration and identifying and delivering improvements for added user functionality
  • Oversee the integrity of the data within our systems and reporting improvements to the relevant people. Act as an escalation point as required.
  • Run our daily/weekly/monthly/ad hoc reports from our HR System (ResourceLink) as required by the business and HR team
  • Manage the annual leave entitlements for the employee self-service platform, MyView

Projects

  • Assist and support the Compensation & Benefits Manager in wider HR projects and people transformation initiatives that relate to reward and systems enhancements

The role will work very closely with the HR Admin Team and payroll to ensure consistency of service and advice is achieved.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required

Supervision and technical training will be provided. 

  • Experience in Reward or HR Systems is essential
  • Experience of Zellis ResourceLink HR database would be particularly advantageous
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.  Experience in mail merges and detailed spreadsheet work is necessary
  • Proven ability in an administrative role/s and a desire to take the next step
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach with an enthusiasm to learn
  • Accountability for your workload
  • Excellent time management skills are required; the ability to schedule and prioritise your work using your time effectively, setting and meeting realistic deadlines in accordance with SLAs and KPIs
  • Ability to maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality at all times
  • Good communication skills are an essential part of this role. The ability to communicate clearly and in a professional manner, both verbally (face-to-face or on the telephone) and in writing is essential. You also need to demonstrate you understand the impact and effectiveness of all communication methods and use each method appropriately
  • Ability to work as a team is essential. You will need to demonstrate an ability to share knowledge/advice with colleagues and offer assistance to others where appropriate. You will be expected to treat others within the team with courtesy and respect and work with others to solve problems, using the advice and ideas of others collaboratively
  • Attention to detail and an ability to place work into the bigger context of HR best practice and the business is essential
