Maintenance Services Manager, Building
Estates And Facilities
Grade 7 (£33,199 - £38,459)
The Estates and Building Department is currently transitioning to a newly rebranded Estates and Facilities Directorate; better reflecting what we do.
We provide a number of essential services to Durham University and are responsible for managing, maintaining and developing the infrastructure and building fabric across the estate.
It is an exciting time to join the team, as we are currently in Phase One of a three-phase programme, running until 2027, to deliver a new estate; supporting the University’s overarching strategy, with the design and construction of new teaching, leisure and accommodation facilities, alongside the repair and refurbishments to the existing infrastructure and buildings.
The Maintenance Services Manager will provide a professional, effective and efficient reactive, cyclical and planned preventive building maintenance service utilising in-house/contract staff, and external contractors.
