We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst (BIA) to join the busy and friendly Planning Team at this exciting time. The BIA will have a key role to play in providing information to support the University’s strategic planning. This will include the modelling of student population and fee income and supporting the broader provision of management information and business intelligence.

The successful candidate will have experience of collecting, analysing and reporting data, an understanding of databases and a proven ability to use complex formulae in Excel. Being skilled with MS Access and SQL is desirable but not essential, as is experience of working within the Higher Education sector.

You will be highly motivated, engaged and able to work independently, but also a good team player. Attention to detail is essential in this role.

The post is offered on a part-time basis of 21 hours over a week and is initially a fixed term role for 14 months.

Consideration will be given to full-time internal candidates looking for a part-time secondment as a development opportunity, keeping their existing role for 0.4fte or 0.5fte.
