Role Description

Cranfield Management Development Limited (CMDL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cranfield University. We already have a prestigious international portfolio but have recently won several exciting contracts, including the delivery of leadership development for the 2022 World Cup Committee.

CMDL largely supports a portfolio of customised and open enrolment executive programmes offered through Cranfield Executive Development (CED). This includes partnering and collaboration with Cranfield’s School of Management Faculty and Administrative departments, and working with a large and diverse Network of Associates.

Our consequent steep growth trajectory requires us to source a talented individual who can ensure we have access to a fit-for-purpose network of Associates who can deliver high quality development interventions to our clients. This role is crucial in enabling us to continue meeting our increasing delivery commitments, and also continue to flex and evolve in the executive development market.

To support this work we are currently looking to recruit a proactive, influential and driven individual who relishes the opportunity to bring world-class development interventions to global clients.

The role offers the opportunity to work internationally across a range of sectors. Cranfield is committed to being client-focused and putting the client at the heart of everything we do. This brings the successful applicant the opportunity to work in a variety of ways with a wide range of Associates, Faculty, organisations, and sectors.

Our customers are both external (delegates and their sponsors) and internal (academic staff, associates, and other Executive Development Directors & colleagues). This role will continue to build our Associate and Faculty Network that keeps pace with evolving client requirements. The successful applicant will provide our customers with access to personnel who have world-class skills and capabilities in the field of executive development.

To be successful in this role you will require previous experience in recruitment/head hunting or consultancy resourcing. You will have worked with commercial stakeholders and/or have a background in a commercial environment, negotiating, and influencing senior stakeholders. A strong communicator both verbally and in writing, you will possess diplomacy, commercial acumen, organisation and planning skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritise.

You will have the ability to match appropriate associate/faculty expertise, experience and approach to a learning and development requirement. It is essential that you are an experienced relationship builder with an existing network of consultants and academic faculty, plus knowledge of how to grow that further.

For an informal discussion, please contact David Deegan, Executive Development Director and Director of Client Resourcing, on (T); +44 (0) 1234 754470 or (E); david.deegan@cranfield.ac.uk

At Cranfield, we value Diversity and Inclusion, and aim to create and maintain a culture in which everyone can work and study together harmoniously with dignity and respect and realise their full potential. We actively consider flexible working options such as part-time, compressed or flexible hours and/or an element of homeworking, and commit to exploring the possibilities for each role.

Interviews expected to be held: Week commencing 8 April 2019
